Legally Blond
Like the title says, I went to see Legally Blond today. We were going to go in a nice sized group (Me, Jenny W, Sean, Ernest, and his gf) but right when we met in front of the theater, the last three decided that they would rather see Jurassic Park III instead. -_-; That was annoying because Jenny specifically said she didn't want to see Jurassic Park III and when we had suggested splitting before, the second to last person said he didn't want to split the group up. That's also rather annoying because said second to last person also got really upset and whiny when I had wanted to go see A.I. opening day with Sophia because he said we were all suppose to see it together. So fine, when I want to split up the group, it's totally unsensitive and mean and ditching, but when HE wants to split it up, it's totally okay. ::sigh:: But whatever. Long story.
So Legally Blond was funny--typical chick-flick plot, but a nice balancer after seeing A.I. Now I have a happy movie to counteract the sad one. And we got free snack packages before and after the movie ^_^. They probably just wanted to get rid of them, but they were good and hey! free food. After the movies were over, the group got back together and looked around at some stores. First we went to Bath, Body, and Beyond and just pretty much browsed through the whole store. Then we went to Barnes and Noble. Jenny, led Sean and I to the religion section and the other two people disappeared again. Anyway, the "Left Behind" serious is HUGE now. I had stopped reading about 2 books ago (I had gotten the first book for my b-day and had been following the series for awhile) because it had turned into more or less just an adventure story and school was cutting into my free reading time. Dunno, maybe it's gotten better though because it's still going...Then I saw this nonfiction book about a new way of looking at Paul or something like that. I skimmed the summary, comments, and the intro, and it looked kind of interesting. Maybe that's just me though because, out of all the followers in the New Testament, I've always been most interested in Paul because 1) he writes well and 2) seems most connecting to the people. That might just be because he wrote a lot so the stuff he did is remembered more, but you never know. Anyway, after that, the group split up and I went over to the bargain books section. They had this HUGE $100 dictionary there like the one on the information desk at the library. It was on sale for $24.90 and had hecka stuff in it, but was too big for really convienent use. They also had a nice, real leather-bound copy of "The Complete Works of the Brothers Grimm".
After awhile, we left (Jenny drove me home) and I went home and, surprise surprise, took a nap. ^_^. Sleep is good. I came to about three hours later, ate, got the mail, watched "Friends", and practiced piano. Finally, I came online and when I got an e-mail with a list of phone numbers of people who signed up to volunteer at the JL carwash, I realized i was suppose to call all of them and remind them to come and bring extra towels. dang...So, anyone who can, pleeeaasee help out and come to the high school junior lot sometime between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. And please bring extra towels if you can. Those who come get our undying gratitude and a free car wash when it's over! ^_^
